Diaper Bank Recognized for Care for Children

The Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank received a  2016 Celebration of Caring Award from Northside Common Ministries.  The award honors a community organization that, through volunteer efforts, lives out the NCM mission to serve the needs of the area’s homeless and hungry. The Diaper Bank was selected for “dedication to assuring that our low-income neighbors have the means to care for their children.” In presenting the award to founders Pastor Phillip and Cathy Battle on Oct. 21, Wendy Hall,  president of the NCM Advisory Board, recognized their faithful dedication.
