Volunteering with the Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank

Volunteers Play a Key Role in Addressing Diaper Need

IMG-1616.JPG

As the Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank (WPADB) continues to grow, volunteers like you are critical to quickly get diapers to families in need.

If you are passionate about giving back to your communities and families in need then join our team of volunteers!

Our volunteers are people just like you, your work colleagues, your friends, and your children. They understand the importance of service that impacts our communities and also enriches our own lives.

We welcome families (adults and children age 14 and up), groups of up to 15 people, students, companies, and individuals.

Interested in volunteering? We have lots to do! There are new volunteer time slots each month so check back often!

You can self-schedule by clicking the button below. Then choose a date and time from the calendar that appears and register.

Volunteer Opportunities Include:

  • Diaper repackaging – our most critical need – year round

  • Sorting projects – year round

  • Assist with community events – periodic

  • Organizing your own diaper drive – Click here for details

Volunteer Guidelines:

Helpful Information for Volunteers

  • Volunteer opportunities are not appropriate for children under age 14.

  • Each volunteer age 14 must be accompanied by an adult who will work directly with them for the entire shift.

  • If you need to record hours worked at the WPADB as community service hours, you must have your paperwork signed by a WPADB supervisor on the day you volunteer.
