Van Driver / Warehouse Employee - Full-time

Job Description:

 

The WPADB Van Driver/Warehouse Lead will be responsible for picking up and delivering goods in Allegheny, Westmoreland, and Fayette Counties. Load and unload diapers, and other basic necessities. Collect appropriate documentation from all pickups. Ensure all deliveries and pickups are on time. Providing accurate time records of the company vehicle’s comings and goings. Keep logs of the van maintenance. When not driving will be responsible for keeping the warehouse organized. Unload trucks, rotate stock, keep warehouse clean, help with diaper distributions.

 

Essential Job Responsibilities:

 

  • Transporting inventory to Mt. Pleasant Hub and Partner Organizations

  • Pick up essential goods from drop off locations and other sites

  • Maintaining working order and cleanliness of the company van/warehouse

  • Transporting diapers to outside events

  • Help on distribution days

  • Rotate Stock, repackaging diapers, assist with volunteer groups

  • Other duties as assigned

 

Education & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED

  • 2-3 years driving experience

  • Understanding of local areas and GonPS navigation

  • Valid driver license

  • Clean driving record

  • Background Checks/ Clearance Act 33-34

  • Be of sound character, work ethic, and a self-starter

  • Strong interpersonal skills

  • Able to lift 25 pounds and stand for significant periods of time

Office Administrator - Full-time

The Western Pennsylvania Diaper Bank is seeking an Office Administrator to manage the office and handle duties assigned by management. We are looking for an individual who is efficient and comfortable being a member of a team. The ability to multi-task, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.

 

Responsibilities

  • Implement and monitor assignments as directed by management, and see the assignments through to completion

  • Answer incoming calls and general emails and requests for information

  • Generate memos, emails and reports 

  • Maintain database, Working knowledge of Salesforce CRM software and FormAssembly

  • Coordinate Board communications with Executive Director and Board chair: Minutes, meeting packets, meeting notices, etc.

  • Assume responsibility for maintenance of office equipment, including computers, copy machines and fax machines

  • Maintain office supplies by checking inventory and ordering items

  • Coordinate Volunteers

  • Work with partner agencies

 

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree preferred

  • Proficiency in MS Office with expertise in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Salesforce and FormAssembly

  • Ability to analyze and revise operating practices to improve efficiency

  • Detail-oriented and comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment

  • Exceptional communication skills

  • Superior organization skills and dedication to completing projects in a timely manner

  • Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
